Frequently Asked Questions

We are currently servicing Eagle, East Meridian and Boise for Doggy Walks and Pet Sitting. We are accepting clients from all areas for Doggy Daycare and Boarding.

We will pick up your pup in a reliable well maintained vehicle equipped with pet safety screens over the windows and a non-slip traction pad to reduce unnecessary movement during transport. There will be a transport period before and after walks but rest assured that this transport time does not impact the actual time that we are out on our 45-60 minute walk. For morning and evening walks expect a window of about 1 hour or more for pick up as there will be many stops along the way to and from our chosen are of service. Example: For a morning walk at or around 10:00am we may pick up your pup between 8:30am-10:00am and drop off between 11:30am -1:00pm.

In order to pick up your pup we will either need someone to be present at the pick-up location or we will need a key or entry code to the house. You may either provide us a copy of the key which will be kept secure with us and without any information linking the key to your address, or you can install a lock box and provide us the code so that we may access the key as needed per service.

We continue our services in all weather conditions so long as there are no health concerns such as poor air quality due to smoke, severe freezing conditions or excessive heat that may result in heat exhaustion. Services such as Doggy Walks may be minimized in such conditions allowing enough time for your pet to eliminate before returning to the comfort of your home. Full walks will resume once conditions permit.

Yes! The walks will be a minimum of 45-60 minutes depending on the weather conditions. There may also include transport time from pick-up to the chosen location of service but this will not impact the actual time of services rendered. You may expect your pup to be out for about two hours after pick-up of which will conclude an 45-60 minute walk or play group at our chosen location before drop-off.

While we are not a grooming service, we do our best to avoid messy conditions to ensure that your pups arrive home as clean as they were when they left. During the rainy season we will towel off your pup the best we can and return them to a place of your choosing to ensure they don’t run amuck in the house.

Routine training allows your pup to develop self-confidence as well as to develop the necessary skills to ensure safety and group cohesion. During our training practices we will help to develop impulse control through sit and stays, name recognition and recall. We will also work toward eliminating the propensity for resource guarding and other undesired territorial behaviors. We implement Positive Reinforcement training techniques to reward cooperation and to promote a positive, feel good experience for your pup.

It’s a misconception that dogs get enough exercise simply having access to the yard. Dogs need to walk and run to develop healthy muscles and joints and to reduce the risk of obesity and anxiety. Just like you and I, dogs experience their world largely through their sense of smell, sight and sound so exploring new territory invigorates their senses and provides mental stimulation making for a happier healthier pup. Dogs are also pack animals and they develop important social behaviors through interaction with the other dogs in the pack.
